Revathi was in Kozhikode city to inaugurate `Festiv' the womens film fest of the Providence Womens College, Kozhikode. She reminisces that whenever she is in Kozhikode she remembers about her famous dialogue `poricha kozhiyinde manam' in Killikam where she portrays Nandini Thampurati which is still cherished in every Malayalees mind.
Women are capable of undertaking different works in different times but after marriage they are tied with family and their children. There should be a change in this. Revati said that women should come forward to create an impression in society. College principal Sister A C Ancy presided over the meeting.
The programme was followed with the screening of movies directed by Revati namely `Mithr my friend' and Bengali movie `Paroma'. Revati spoke about `Mithr my friend' and `Paroma' was discussed by Deedi Damodaran, who had penned the script for the Bengali movie. On Saturday, Deepa Mehta's `Water' and a Iranian movie will be screened.
