Kozhikode: Fox Star Studio was given the exclusive distribution rights outside Kerala for `Second Show' in which Mammooty's son Dulqar Salman made his debut. Fox Star Studios is an movie production and distribution company, a joint venture between Twentieth Century Fox and STAR, both owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation.It is for the first time that Fox Star, which started functioning in India in 2008, is taken up the distribution rights of a Malayalam movie. Fox Star Studios has released many Hollywood blockbusters in India and has also produced films which have collaborated with Indian production companies, and have been released in International markets.
The movie, made under the banner of AOPL entertainment, said that the tie up will not only benefit Second Show but the whole Malayalam industry. Second Show will be released outside Kerala on February 10 in as many as 50 theatres.
